Therefore, my volt meter does not read between the real score?
I have a PROD Sun Volt meter in my 1986 Ford F-150. When i bought the meter read instructions and the instructions said volt gauge read between 14 volts and 16 volts. But at idle it reads between 12 volts and 13 volts. Then when I turn on the lights and the heater falls over. I connected the ground wire and hot wire enters the fuse panel ….. Altanator OH has a new battery.
That sounds in mostly above normal. Alternators generate most of its electricity from about 1500 RPM. You have to check again the tension there.
