How do I repair a Mercruiser Trim Pump?

The engine operates in the down position, but does nothing in the UP or position TRAILER. I need to know if it's a solenoid problem or anything else. If it helps at all, I would prefer to replace the solenoid of the whole pump unit Cutting.

Swap the power cables to the solenoid down to the solenoid, if a solenoid, the pump must run UP. Another possibility is the limit switch cutting, very common for wires to corrode.
