What are the pros and cons of aluminum vs. fiberglass boat under?
I had a bass boat champion forever, but today I bought G3 aluminum boat that was so cheap I could not pass up. The G3 is aluminum. What are the pros and cons?
Aluminum boats are more cheap and are fine for freshwater fishing. It ding If you hit a hard object. Small dings are not difficult to repair, but large dents are difficult to return to their original state. Aluminum cans are easier to build, so keep the price down. Modern fiberglass boats are made of wood and contain no foam flotation, which make them very stable and prosperous. Contrary to what some believe, fiberglass is strong, flexible material for ship construction. Big cuts in the fiberglass can be repaired to look new. Fiberglass can be sprayed into a mold, allowing the manufacturer offers many different forms of hull fiberglass and accessories inside the boat.
